In addition to festivals, house concerts, coffeehouses, and music clubs, Jon also performs 'specialty shows' at venues that require specific material, such as Classic Country Nights, Senior Centers, Assisted Living Centers, and Nursing Homes.
Many bars, VFW halls, and other venues have classic country music nights- usually on a non-peak night- to attract the growing population of people who are discovering old time country music and Americana. Jon is particularly well suited to perform at Classic Country Nights with a repertoire that includes a large number of covers by artists such as Hank Williams, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Marty Robbins.
