Jon Waterman Press

June 30, 2018- Grainy Days received a nice little write up in the July 2018 edition of Metronome Magazine:

"Singer-songwriter-guitarist Jon Waterman rides the rails somewhere between electric rocker and hi-energy Americana folkie on his latest release Grainy Days. But he doesn't stop there. The reggae influenced "Born That Way" ebbs and flows, "Hughie Cannon's Blues" busts out in honky tonk, "Shouldn't Lovers Have Islands" funks out in quirky time, and "Tourettes Tommy" blasts down the highway like a nuclear eighteen wheeler, revealing Waterman as a creatively inventive songcrafter. Good job!" - Doug Sloan

June 24, 2018- Tom Maroon of WEMF radio did a nice feature of Grainy Days on his program "The Feedback". He played 3 songs from the CD- "Walk As If You Won", "Hughie Cannon's Blues" and "Tourettes Tommy". The link to the entire program is here. The feature section starts at around 19:55 in the video. Stay tuned for an on air interview scheduled for the near future!

May 6, 2018- Fun CD Release show for Grainy Days- we played to a packed room! Thanks to all the folks who came out, thanks to Koto for hosting the show, thanks to Craig Sonnenfeld and Bill Fennell for great opening sets, thanks for comedian and emcee Josh Filipowski for making everyone laugh and helping to keep everything on track, and thanks to the band- Eric Brown, Marshall Smith, Shira Moss, Sean Yadisernia, Kirsten Manville, Lisa Haley, and Seth Nobles!
