  • Sultana- Jon is honored that the song 'Sultana' has been selected for use in the documentary 'Sultana: Soldiers of Misfortune' scheduled for release by River Rock Entertainment in the summer of 2005. Also, Jon has been invited to perform the song at the Sultana Reunion and Memorial Dedication scheduled for April 8th and 9th in Vicksburg, MS. The event will mark the dedication of the Vicksburg Floodwall Mural depicting the loading of the steamship. The reunion and dedication is organized by the descendants of the survivors and victims of the disaster. The survivors tried for years after the war to get the victims of the disaster memorialized with a Federal Monument. Their descendants continued the effort, and while a Federal Monument has still not been erected, the mural is a major step towards a memorial that is long overdue. Visit the music page to hear the demo version of Sultana, which will be re-recorded for the documentary.

  • The Salem Evening News ran a nice front page story on the Concert for Tsunami Relief. Thanks to Ben Casselman for the story and to the Salem Evening News for all of its great coverage of the event.

  • "Taking the Fall" received a nice write up in the May 2004 issue of Metronome Magazine. Thanks to Douglas Sloan for his kind words and to Metronome for the coverage. Check out the review
